Prayer Needs

"Don't worry about anything. Instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. If you do this, you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus."
- Philippians 4:6-7, NLT

The Defining Vision for the Geneva Prayer Ministries is to:

Equip people to grow in a lifestyle of prayer That they may become the transforming presence of Christ in the world

Worship and prayer are the highest activities possible for the human soul. In prayer, we meet face to face and heart to heart with the God who created us, loves us, and longs for us to be deeply united with Him. On the last night of His life, Jesus prayed for people of all generations who would believe in Him, "that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me."

Prayer is the life-blood of the Christian life, because in prayer, we not only are able to converse with God, make requests of God, and hear from God, we are able to truly become one with Him in the way Jesus prayed. It is through prayer that the power of the Holy Spirit is unleashed, that His will is done in our hearts, and through us, in the world. Prayer can take many forms, so at Geneva , we provide many different opportunities for you to receive prayer, practice prayer and grow in your prayer life.

  • E-mail prayer chain, If you have a prayer request for yourself or someone you know, you may click  prayerchain@genevachurch.org. Your prayer request will be circulated via e-mail to our Session, staff, and prayer chain members. All prayer chain requests are kept confidential.
  • Healing prayer, If you are in need of healing prayer, either for physical healing or inner healing, you are welcome to contact the church office at (734) 459-0013 and we will set up a time for you to meet with the pastor and/or others who have been trained in healing prayer.

"Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours"
Mark 11:24
