Deb Flavell will be leading a book study on Tuesdays at 7:00 PM in April starting on the 9th. The book is called A Map is Only One Story, edited by Nicole Chung & Mensah Demary. It is twenty different stories about immigrants in America. We will do 5 stories a week. Feel free to stop in any or all weeks. Let Deb Flavell (debraflavell@yahoo.com) know if you can attend. We’ve all seen t-shirts and wall plaques with the names of Jesus, but what is this real meaning behind each of these names? This new study, I Am, by Sarah K. Howley, takes an in-depth look at 8 of these names as they are found in the book of John. She then connects them to passages in the Old Testament to show God’s seamless love for us from the Old Testament to the New.
This group is open to all women from the church, but feel free to invite outside friends as well. We meet in person here at Geneva and online each Tuesday morning from 10:00- 11:30 am. This study will run from April 23-June 11. The book I Am is available from Amazon for $9.99.
