You might be asking….
Where do I park and enter the building?
There are two entrances into the parking lot located on N. Sheldon Rd. Parking and entry doors are available on the east (front) and the south (left) sides of the building.
What should I know about your worship service?
Our 10:00 am Sunday morning worship service provides a time for the whole family of God to gather in a spirit of worship. You are welcomed as you are! You’ll see people dressed in jeans, skirts, suits and dresses. For schedule and more information about our typical worship service check out this link Worship.
What should I know about communion at Geneva Church?
We celebrate Communion the first Sunday of every month. We welcome anyone who wishes to partake; you simply have to believe in Jesus Christ and appreciate his sacrificial gift. You don’t have to be a member of Geneva or of any Presbyterian Church. You don’t have to be confirmed or even baptized in order to partake. There is no screening process. We trust that you follow your conscience and God’s leading as you decide if you want to participate in the celebration.
What about children and youth at Geneva?
We welcome children in worship and celebrate their full presence in our church family! We offer a ‘Grace Space’ within the sanctuary designed especially for children to engage in age-appropriate ways during the service. Our Grace Space includes soft blocks, books, quiet toys, and coloring pages. It allows children to move, play, and explore while still experiencing the rhythms and sounds of worship.
We also offer nursery care for families with infants and toddlers. Additionally, children ages 3 through 5th grade who are interested in participating in age-appropriate worship services are invited to do so after the children’s message part of the worship service. Please see our Children’s Ministry page for more information about children’s worship and nursery care .
Middle school and high school youth are encouraged to attend worship with their families. Please see our Middle School/High School Ministry page for more information about youth programs.
How do you provide for those who need vision, hearing or ambulatory assistance?
We offer larger print bulletins and have lyrics to music and words to prayers on our large screens in front of the sanctuary. We also have hearing assistance and wheelchairs available. For those who need it, many of the chairs in our sanctuary have arm rests for easier transitions.
